Experience the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum After Hours
Experience Gardner After Hours: Word Play
Date: Thursday, December 20, 5-9 p.m., Concert: 7 p.m.
Location: 280 The Fenway, Boston, MA 02115
On the Third Thursday of each month the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum presents After Hours, an evening of music, socializing, games, artist’s talks and activities in the Studio. This month, they are celebrating all things literary in honor of Isabella Gardner’s love of books, great literature and a good story. Local writer’s group Grub Street will be on hand to offer their own literary talents.
Boston Globe Insiders are invited to Gardner After Hours and 30 lucky Insiders will get to attend the concert.
In Calderwood Hall, the Callithumpian Consort celebrates the work of composer John Cage with a musical tribute.
For December’s Gardner After Hours, as a nod to Isabella Gardner's love of rare books, we’re partnering with our friends at Grub Street, an independent center for creative writing, for an evening of words, poetry, and mingling with artists and writers.
